During my time in the blogging world, I’ve been “tagged” about 5 billion times and I’ve never done it. So I am going to do it, this once, but I don’t think I should have to do it for the next year. 🙂 Here goes: List seven random facts about yourself.

1. I get a $22 Mani/Pedi once a month.
2. I have ran two full marathons.
3. I lived in Bahia, Brazil for a year and a half as a missionary for my church and consequently speak fluent Portuguese.
4. There are 8 children in my family. I am number 7.
5. I used to work as a wilderness counselor. I lived outside backpacking for about a year and a half. As a result I can start fire with sticks and I have frostbite on my big toes.
6. When I was 22 I hitchhiked 900 miles by myself.
7. Places I have lived for more than three months: St. George, UT; San Diego, CA; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Logan, UT; Tuckahoe, New York; Bahia, Brazil; Wiesbaden, Germany; San Francisco, CA.

{This is a picture of my family, I’m the baby and my little brother isn’t born yet.}

    Nice shirts…glad we’re not the only family that came up with the genius matching shirt idea…somewhere in the world there is a homeless man in a pink “Tanner Family Pig Out” sweatshirt that he found at the DI courtesy of my family.

    I found your blog last week, and I’ve spent hours and hours reading ALL your archives and at least doubling the number of pages I have saved in my favorites. Thank you for showing me so many pretty things that I didn’t know existed!

    I am the oldest of 7. My mother is from San Francisco and though we grew up in the Chicago area we would spend a number of summers and holidays with the family in California. There are a number of pictures that my parents took that look similar to the ones you posted.
    Eating dinner we even sat agewise and boys on one side girls on the other.

    Voce fala portugues tambem! Adoro o brasil e tento praticar portugues o mais possivel, mas chicago nao tem muitos brasileiros com quem posso falar. Entao, leio blogs brasileiros e, claro, continuo escutar musica brasileira. Prazer, menina!
