Blech. How can it be August 17th already? Where has the summer gone? Have I been to the beach yet? Have I made fresh lemonade? Have I eaten enough fresh summer fruit? Have I made a homemade pie? I started to panic a little when I realized all the things I have not done yet. So I’m going to make a list. Technically September and October are San Francisco’s warmest months so I have a little time.

Hello, I wandered over from Jessica’s blog (living the swell life) and smiled about your post. I have been feeling the same way. How can is be the middle of August already? I too am thankful that Sept. and Oct. are both lovely weather months in our state so we can enjoy the next 10 weeks or so of delicious late summer beauty. BTW, how far along are you? I’m expecting our 2nd baby girl Nov. 21 and I noticed that you were planning for a new little one too. Hope all is going well!
