Wooden Utensils

At the picnic {the one I posted about yesterday} they had wooden utensils. Much more charming than plastic but still disposable and not expensive. On ATNY I saw they featured some from Pic Woody’s. They got theirs from Fairway Market in New York but I can’t seem to find a good source online. Anyone? {It might also be cute to have a custom stamp made and print something on all wooden utensils.}

    Are these the bamboo brand? Here is an online source. I’ve seen them at a lot of gourmet groceries too. http://store.greenfeet.com/ItemMatrix.asp?GroupCode=6010-00988&MatrixType=2&ic=6010-00988-1100

    I swear there’s a company in the financial district that uses wooden utensils… (racking my brain)

    Yes. I was last minute shopping for plastice champagne glasses (bio-degradable style) since we can't have glass for our outdoor wedding and came across this website: http://www.partyplastics.co.uk/index.asp

    Notice how inexpensive their wood cutlery is compared to anything available online in the US.
    Amazing.

    Unfortunately, I decided to ditch http://www.letsgogreen.biz and loaded up my shopping cart at http://www.partyplastics and found out at the checkout that the business is located in the UK and they don't ship internationally. Of course, googling, I never read the URL.

    Bleeping America. I can't afford it.

    I'm sorry Chelsea and .caroline armelle, to supply our wedding of 150 people with this cutlery would cost more than $783 at the online sources you suggested.
    $1044 if no one saved their fork for cake.
    I'm sure the profits don't cover the cost of the lives affected by the acquisition of the raw material. Hence the eco-capitalists.

    At least http://www.partyplastics are just capitalists. The same amount of wooden cutlery is $81.00 at their online store.

    1300% more, correct?

    they do custom versions too, but i think you have to buy on a very large scale for that.
