    amazing… I love how other cultures appreciate colors other than beige.. it’s so refreshing.

    That’s so beautiful! And, the word “yummy” comes to mind. I want to put my hands in them! I took my son, when he was just old enough to watch, but not old enough to walk, to see the Tibetan monks creating their beautiful sand mandalas. (And, they have a section where children old enough can try out their hand, as well.) But, I’m sure the mom of the toddler who destroyed the design in Kansas City was horrified: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J_Ctk4-IoQ
    What a beautiful lesson the monks provided, tangible and intangible!

    We have so many handcarts that sell colors for our festivals like Holi and Diwali. Diwali is a festival of lights where people decorate this front porches with sand art using colored sand.
