McSweeney’s {my favorite boutique publisher} is in dire financial straits. They just lost a bazillion dollars {explanation here.} As a result they are selling everything not nailed down. Subscriptions to McSweeneys and The Believer are on sale as is their large selection of books. I think my favorite is the limited edition stuff for sale in ebay including custom signs by Miranda July. You provide the name {after you win the auction} and she makes you a custom sign. There is even a private tour of The Daily Show.

When I hop on the McSweeney’s site and they have their “sale prices” listed…are those the actual prices or is the discount on TOP? Thanks!

Thanks for the information! I had no idea McSweeney’s was in such a tight spot. They have such an interesting list of things they publish. I just went and ordered “Animals of the Ocean, in Particular the Giant Squid.”
