Gap is doing the designer thing now. Three designers: Doo.Ri, Rodarte, and Thakoon are all doing their versions of white shirts. I’ve never heard of these guys but apparently they are all hot stuff. Irregardless I love the end results.

Very cool… I’ve been re-intruiged (a word?) by Guess lately as well… they look like they’re really trying to redefine their brand, especially with their new magazine ads.

Honestly, I went to gap today because for once I thought a collaboration was cute. I liked the pleated stiff looking Doo Ri shirt. But in person the shirts are really blah. They are also cut big. The scarf one was ridiculous, it went down past my knees. It just looked silly and “fashion victim.” I normally wear an XS and it fit more like a small medium as compared to their other clothes. I was disappointed. I do like the idea of just white shirts though. I just thought they weren’t really that wearable or nice when I saw them up close. Hopefully others have better luck.
