I have a few different kinds of sketchbooks but over the last few years this little guy has been my favorite. It’s big enough to draw in and small enough to carry- Fits neatly into most bags.
The colorful paper is far less intimidating than the pristine white pages of most sketchbooks.
This particular one is the Fabriano artist journal. As you see they come in a few different sizes and cover options. The small one is my favorite.
One of the tricks I use for drawing in these little books is resting my hand on right page and drawing to the left.
