The shower I’m throwing for Pepper is tomorrow so today is my big errand day. It will be a simple shower but I think it will be good. The invitation indicated it would be a tea party so that means tea party foods: think cucumber sandwiches with no crust, an assortment of herbal teas and hot drinks, petit fours, tea cakes, little cookies, and mini cupcakes. Games at showers are controversial. I personally don’t mind them if they are very clever and don’t last too long. For this shower, since Pepper is such a great public speaker and because we have a group that would appreciate it, I’m asking a few attendees to give short speeches {podium included} on various topics. It should be interesting and funny {I hope.}
