I have a sweet wedding cake story, speaking of. So I had my reception on Saturday and after dinner, we went over to start the dancing. We were supposed to dance for about a half an hour before we cut the cake, but since the restaurant manager forgot to rent the equipment like he had agreed, little slacker, we had to use the overhead speakers for the music. During our first dance it was almost too faint to hear and then during a fast song when at least some of my guests were getting down, it just cut out mid-song. Needless to say without a nice soundsystem the music didn’t have the attration affect it usually does to the dance floor,so after about 10 minutes about 90% of the people had hit the road. When I cut the cake there were about 10 people left to see it. Good thing I didn’t spend a lot of money on the cake. I didn’t even buy a nice knife- we used a butter knife to cut it. But I think it would have all been better if I had one of these cake toppers. The bike one especially. How super cool.
