Happy Halloween

From the website ” This is high quality candy corn from Zachary Confections. In fact, this candy corn received 2 prestigious excellence awards last year: 2005 ChefsBest and 2005 American Culinary Institute. It is not crumbly and dry like other brands…. it is a rich and smooth candy corn.” A five pound bag costs $20. This is my favorite fall candy.

My dream is to create a “candy corn on the cob.” I would take a nougaty center, like a babyruth without the nuts, and then put the candy peices into the nougaty center with the yellow kernel pieces sticking out. It would take some time to put it together, but it would be worth it.

I agree with Liz. I have heard Salem talk about his candy corn on the cob many time. Maybe next year I will make it for him.
