This weekend was so fast–we did a million things.
1. Friday after work we went directly to visit my new press. It was lovely and I am 90% sure I am going to buy it. 2. Then we went to Tres Agaves, a Mexican restaurant I’ve been meaning to try for a while. A few weeks ago my boss gave me a $100.00 gift certificate so Paul and I went and burned through all the money we could. We ended up having a two hour meal and ordered a ton of food. 3. Saturday morning got up kind of early so we could go to the Legion of Honor to try to see the Monet in Normandy exhibit. We had to stand in line for an hour but it was really good. 4. The Center for the Book had their yearly Block Party. They make giant prints in the road with a steam roller, it was really cool. Plus they had a ton of different letterpress items and handmade books you could buy. 5. I had to go work a quick shift at Pottery Barn. 6. Then Saturday night we went to Paul’s Plein Air show in Berkeley. 7. Sunday we went to church and then went to the One Year One Show on Treasure Island. I was really excited to go to the show because next year we are going to try to set a smaller one up similiar for Paul.

I would have lent you my pass to the Legion of Honor so you could get in free and skip the line. Let me know next time!

We have a membership but we waited until the second to last day to go. It was closed to the public the whole weekend and even members had to wait in line. 🙁

You have to do this “one year, one show” bit – incredible.
