I’m on the hunt for a new apartment. Paul and I had a talk the other night whether we should move somewhere else or not and we decided we should stay here at least another couple years. Good apartments that are somewhat affordable are just so hard to find. Here is my list of qualities for a dream apartment:
1. Cool Neighborhood.
2. Fast Commute to downtown
3. Near a Studio for Paul
4. 2 Bedroom
5. Victorian or Edwardian Architecture
6. Wood Burning Fireplace
7. Laundry in unit
8. Parking
9. View
10. Not more than $2000/month in rent
If anyone hears of some magical apartment in San Francisco that fits the above description, please let me know.

parking in the building or in the unit itself? Because I have a one bedroom that will be available soon and it has TWO BATHROOMS. Maybe you can trade an extra bathroom for a bedroom?

there is a cute little victorian place on Fillmore right before you hit Haight that is for sale, and there is the cutest little storefront space open right underneath it. I just have to raise 17.5 kabillion dollars, and then we can live/work there. It looked perfect.

I live in a 3 bedroom in the Presidio and I pay $2050. We have parking, washer/dryer hookups, two floors, a view of the ocean, a free shuttle to downtown, and you can’t beat the sound of the waves at night. let me know if you want more info.

I looked into living in the Presidio a while ago but the houses were pretty expensive to rent. Where in the Presidio are these located? Are you talking about the old barracks?

Love the post on the presidio. I live at Baker Beach. They aren’t super pretty on the outside but they’re nice on the inside. If you want to come look at mine, you’re more than welcome to come over for milk and oreos. 😉
