In about a month and a half San Francisco will get grey and rainy. One of my first apartments here had a wood burning fireplace. It was so wonderful. It made the inside of the house so cozy. In our current apartment all we have is a rattling radiator. That is why during the fall and winter I keep our house stocked with warm candles. I just picked up this cobalt blue one (it smells incredible.) And I think these frosted votives from West Elm would work nicely on the mantle.
