I remember seeing this wedding and loving it. If only everyone had access to a cute little barn that didn’t also smell like cow manure. Or maybe that’s part of the charm.

    I’m just too dang practical.
All I see is the straw/hay on the floor that would creep into my shoes or in between my toes and lodge in Steve’s socks NEVER to be removed.
I also see the pewter goblets which are a nice idea, but they hurt to hold and drink from (too hot or too cold) unless the beverage is served at room temperature.
Really, event planners should call me in to find all of the things that are annoying to guests but easy to fix. I could make big money$$.

Yeah, I’m sure they would love to hear you complain about their 100,000 party. 🙂

I want to throw a fall party like this – if I only had a barn.

Jordan- I am a friend of Gabby’s from NY, but now I live in RI. I have been a longtime admirer of your blog. I love this post esp the containers that the cider is in. Do you happen to know the source on these? You have your finger on the pulse of everything that is lovely and tasteful and I am sure if anyone knows how to find it, it’s you! If you happen to know anything about them, let me know, but don’t go to any great lengths to find out if you don’t. Thanks so much.

Fantastic, I love the table settings and the natural feel. It’s possibly money-saving too. What! 100,000??
