I know I keep complaining about being busy. Sorry, I’ll try to keep the bitching to a minimum. We are doing a party for 1200 people. We’ve done parties that big before but this one is different because I’ve weasled my way up the corporate ladder and now I’m in charge. (I still am not sure why I get paid the same.)
I had a surreal experience yesterday. I was eating my Butternut Squash Soup at Boudin like I do every Wednesday (that is the soup of the day on Wednesdays.) And someone walked up to me and said, “Are you Jordan?” I told her I was and she said, “I read your blog.” To which I threw my hands in the air in triumph and yelled, “I’m famous.” All my dreams of fame and fortune have come true except for the fortune part. My life is complete– thanks Stacey for introducing yourself to me. I was so stoked the entire day.
The lesson we should learn here is that if you post enough pictures of yourself on the internet, at some point someone will recognize you.

Umm. you are definitely famous! I have passed your blog on to about 20 people in the last two weeks, and I heard about you through at least 5 different channels 😀

Um, that is SO cool! and I’m a little bit jealous that someone actually got to meet you while I sit here in Colorado wishing for the day that you, Rebecca and I could go out for some delicious butternut squash soup!
