Calligraphy

There are a bunch of calligraphy masters that offer classes here in the city. I’ve been wanting to take classes for over a year now. My handwriting is ok and if I go slow it can even look nice, but I want to be able to do swirls and dips. Calligraphy gets ignored a lot. It kills me when people drop so much cash for really nice invitations and then they ruin it with poor handwriting or WORSE….labels!! Even here in a very expensive city you can find calligraphers for pretty cheap. These examples are from this lady’s site.

Why is calligraphy cool? Because it is classic!

Pretty pretty site. If Paul were cool, he would buy you the house in Logan and move it anywhere you wanted it.

I found your site a couple of weeks ago and I am really loving it. You have great taste!

I couldn’t agree with you more about calligraphy. Something about getting a letter or invitation with pretty writing on it makes me way more excited than seeing a stick on label. Probably because a stick on generally means junk mail.

Before I come off looking like a label snob I should say that I don’t think its horrible to use labels I just think if you are throwing down a few thousand on invitations you might as well put another $200 for calligraphy.
