This bed was on the cover of Pottery Barn a month or so ago. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make it mine. I could probably have it made but more importantly, I need a place to put it. Near water seems the most idyllic. Anyone want to go in on a beach house with me? I’ll pay for the hanging bed.

i’d be afraid of jumping on the bed, and other vigorous activities that would make me wonder if the ceiling would give out. but i will come to the beach house with you.

My wife follows your blog and has taken your letterpress class. She showed me this post a couple of years ago and it inspired me to build one (I build custom furniture and doors from recycled materials).
