Open Studios happens in San Francisco every October. ArtSpan is the organization that runs it. Basically they divide the city up into sections and provide maps and each section of the city is assigned a different weekend. People devote a lot of time to going to all the studios (30,000 people come). Duboce Triangle/Mission is October 13-15. Everyone be sure and come! See more of Paul’s stuff here or here.

I like this painting, it’s calming.
my 2 year old saw it and when I asked him what he saw he said:
“clouds.”
I ask-what else?
“wa wa [water]”
then he paused and said with shrugged shoulders:
“where cars go?”
he is a little obsessed with cars right now. don’t listen to him, I think it’s just fine without cars!
I didn’t get drawn to the clouds, I love the rich earth.

farm land in cache valley is my fav. i wish it would not sell until i buy my house, too, so i can have it someday.
