I loved the piece in Vogue about this family and their gorgeous New York Brownstone. (It also makes me want to add another boy to my family so I can dress them the same– I’m envisioning yellow rain jackets and wellies.)

I am so in love with this house! I just commented on another blog (also featuring this family) that I am so smitten with her girls too and how she dresses them alike!!
I can't believe I forgot about them until they started showing up on the blogs 🙂

I have two boys and I usually buy 2 of everything. They're close enough in age that they think they each need the same thing. I don't always dress them the same but I almost always coordinate them. I can't help it, it's fun.

Amazing. I love that there is color layered upon color, and pattern layer upon pattern. I'd never have the guts to do anything like that in my home, but I love it.

Wow. I loved the house, the family and the article. The photo of the three girls playing with blocks, etc. on the floor is so reminiscent of John Singer Sargent's painting of four sisters in white pinafores ("Daughters of Edward Darley Boit"). Somehow I think the likes of Isabella Stewart Gardner would be very, very happy coming home to a house like this! Oh, and the girls' dresses were amazing–obviously copied/inspired by 19th century frocks. My favorite part, though, was the statement that Olya is sometimes seen around town with an "exquisite toddler or two!" Not exactly sure how that is done, but definitely interesting to think about. . .
