Celebrate St. Pat’s with these little elfin hats filled with treats. Don’t let any leprechauns steal your goodies though! Those guys have a reputation for being trouble makers!

Materials needed: Paper Mache Carolers’ Hats, green paint, black card stock, hot glue gun, paper, gold glitter wide tape or gold paper, scissors, treats.

Step 1: Paint the carolers’ hats and let dry. Don’t forget the underside of the hat!
Step 2: Cut out a 1 x 5″ strip of black cards stock, wrap it around the base of the hat, and glue to secure.
Step 3: Cut out a 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ piece of gold tape or paper. Cut out the inside of the square, secure over the black card stock. Fill the hat with treats and glue or tape a piece of green paper to cover the hole and keep the treats enclosed.
