Materials needed: green crepe paper and/or wrapping paper, ribbon, scissors, cardboard tubes, tape, hot glue gun, cracker snaps, assorted candies/treats.

Step 1: Cut out a 5” piece of cardboard tube.
Step 2: Cut a piece of crepe or wrapping paper about 5” x 10” (enough to wrap around the tube).
Step 3: Center a cracker snap strip on the paper and trim the ends to just inside the edges of the paper.
Step 4: Glue the cracker snap strip to the tube.
Step 5: Wrap and glue the paper around the tube.
Step 6: Gently pinch and gather one side of the paper around the end of the tube, being careful not to rip the paper. You don’t need to close it air-tight, just enough so that your treats don’t fall out. Secure with ribbon.
Step 7: With a tiny dab of glue, attach the cracker snap to the inside edge of the paper. This will ensure that the snap will get pulled apart when being opened.
Step 8: Fill the tube with candy and/or treats from the open end.
Step 9: Gently pinch and gather the other end of the paper, glue the snap to the inside edge, and tie with ribbon.
