“Love is in the air” literally – when you hang this cursive banner. Let someone know you love them! Using different shades of pinks and reds adds a Valentine’s flair, but you can use any colors you’d like. Wouldn’t “you are my sunshine” in golden and pale yellow yarns be so sweet in a newborn’s nursery? If you have extra sting, make additional words to decorate valentine gifts. Or write the recipient’s name for an amazing name tag! The words are easy to affix to a package with glue or washi tape. PS – How perfect would this banner look paired with this?
Materials: yarn, glue, wax paper, scissors, 3/8″ wooden dowel (22-24 inches length), string
Step 1: Cut a length of yarn at least 2 – 3 feet (better to have extra than not enough).
Step 2: Saturate the string in a bowl of glue.
Step 3: Run the glue-y string through your fingers, to get rid of excess glue.
Step 4: Lay out the yarn, spelling the word you want in script, on the wax paper. You may need to do a rough version first, wash your hands, then go back and make little tweaks to shape the letters to your liking.
Step 5: Let dry overnight.
Step 6: Cut off any excess bits of glue. Attach letters to string every few inches, and hang from dowel. Attach approx. 4 feet of yarn to each end of the dowel and hang.

I also made this letters! But I did it differently. I first made a pendulum punnik doll and carrier wire through there then. Same effect, but yours is a lot simpler! Really nice and nicely done!
