Baby Shower Invitation in a Box + Free Printable

When I am throwing an extra special party I love doing something extra special with the invitation. It really does make a difference in getting people excited for the party. I love the idea of putting invitations in boxes with a little sweet or surprise. The delivery can be a little more complicated than just dropping it in the mail (I usually hand deliver most of them) but I always get a really good response from invitations like these. For these we got the boxes here and used sixlets, I think they look so modern and cute. We taped the accordion invitation to the lid so that when you open it unfolds with the party details. Find the free-printable and more details below!

Supplies: 3.5″x3.5″ Embossed Jewelry Boxes (in Pink, Mango & Orange,) Tissue Paper, Sixlets, Shower Invitation, White Cardstock, Tape, Scissors or Exacto Knife, Ribbon

Cute a square of tissue paper to cover the bottom of the box. Fill with sixlets (a few layers deep – make sure they’re flat on top.) Print the Shower Invitation onto cardstock and cut it out. Tape the ends together to create a long strip of paper. Fold into an accordion. Attached the very top of the invitation to the inside of the box top with tape. Fold the invite, close the box, and wrap with ribbon or a label.

Hello. Can I ask where can I get the White Board used as a background? What does it call? Thank you so much!

Did this for a friends cat in the hat baby shower… tied a small thing one or thing two at the top of the string… for them to pull out… addressed the top of the box and sent out.. all arrived just fine..

Wow! These are adorable. Nobody did this for me and it makes me feel envy. This is such a very creative thing. The people who will receive this invitation will be surprised and of course it will add up their excitements. This is really great!
