Materials needed: crepe paper, gold ribbon, glue gun, 25 4-oz plastic containers, scissors, white number stickers, approx. 7 1/2′ of 1/8″ aluminum wire (not shown), assorted treats, snacks, jokes, tattoos, coupons and goodies.
Step 1: Cut out 25 squares of crepe paper, approximately 9″ x 9″ each.
Step 2: Fill and close containers. Wrap each container with the crepe paper.
Step 3: Tie each side with gold ribbon.
Step 4: Trim the ends of extra crepe paper.
Step 5: Create a 24″ diameter circle with the aluminum wire. This dimension should hold all 25 containers perfectly.
Step 6: Put hot glue on the bottom of a container, press and hold on the wire for a few seconds.
Step 7: Continue applying glue to the bottom of each container, after the first one is on, begin adding a drop of glue to the side of each additional container.
Step 8: Put the sticker numbers on in random order.

I love the idea of putting little gifts inside the wreath! It’s always fun shaking up the traditional advent calendar, and I love using more colors than just they typical red and green!

Exceptionally sweet (pun intended) idea! I am recently obsessed with tissue punch crafts and I’m wondering how it would hold up if the lids were left off so you could punch through the crepe paper.
