I’m in a summery mood! The UK is having it’s first heatwave since 2006 so we are all making the most of the glorious sunshine…it could be a while before it happens again! To celebrate the summer I have designed these cute strawberry treat boxes. You can use them for party favors or as a gift box for a special present. If you fancy making a few you can download the pdf at the foot of the post. Happy crafting!

Materials: Printable Template, Good White Card Stock, Scissors, Ruler, Compass/Needle Point, Glue, Needle & Thread, Sticky Tape
Step 1: Print the template onto a sheet of white card. Set your printing preferences to ‘photo’ or ‘best photo’. Cut around the outside of the treat box pattern.
Step 2: Score six lines into your treat box using a ruler and pointy object (such as compass or needle).
Step 3: Fold along each line.
Step 4: Put glue on the white tab and stick down as shown.
Step 5: Using a needle, pierce six holes into your box, as indicated on the template.
Step 6: Pop your treat into the box, you can wrap them in tissue paper first if you want.
Step 7: Sew the flaps together.
Step 8: Secure your thread with a piece of sticky tape or a plain sticker.
Step 9: Glue the leaves onto the treat box. Job done!

Wow – such a great idea for a summer party! I wonder if you could get creative with other fruits/veggies. Artichoke, anyone?

What a sweet and charming favours box! Love it! Thanks for sharing such a creative idea!
I’ve been a bit out of touch – didn’t realise you were in the UK. Great time to pick – hope you’re enjoying all the royal baby hype too lol and that you don’t get caught out in the thunderstorms 🙂

Hi there! I love this idea! Thanks for sharing! My printer doesn’t produce high {or good} quality prints, just wondering if you had a plain version {just the black outline} so I can just print directly on coloured paper? Thanks a bunch xo
