Honeycomb Garland DIY

A while ago, I ordered a bunch of fun-colored honeycomb decorations that have, up until now, been sitting in my party closet. This week, we thought it would be fun to pull them out and create a colorful garland. The whole process took under an hour, but the final product is stunning. I think it would be really pretty in different shades of white! (PS – You could use any leftover honeycombs to make this Ice Cream Garland.)

Click through for instructions.

Materials: String, Scissors, Multicolored Honeycombs

Step 1: Cut your string to your designed garland length and attached it to the wall.
Step 2: Tie the strings from the honeycombs to the string hanging on the wall. Keep layering the honeycombs so they cover the string on the wall and fill any negative space.

Beautiful – how was the string attached to the wall?

You could use a tack or some very strong tape. 🙂

Beautiful! I love it! I wish they had such fun colors in the party stores around me. Not just for these, but for crepe paper and other such things, too. Ordering online is so easy, I know, but I love going in to stores and look at everything in person.

It’s been a while since I ordered them (they’ve been sitting in my party closet for a few months,) so they no longer have all the colors we used. We used hot pink, peach, pink, orange, and turquoise (no longer available.) They are all 5-inches.
