Easter Baskets: 4 Ways
Here is a quick and easy project for Easter. We picked up some baskets from the thrift store and gave them a fresh look with just a little paint. It took barely any time and cost only a few dollars. A cute little way to brighten up your easter basket. (ps: I can’t believe this Easter Egg Hunt was a year ago! Time flies.)

I never give out valentines, but i always make easter baskets for my friends and family. Usually i just go to world market and buy baskets but this way sounds more fun!

I love how sweet, simple, and inexpensive this project is. Wonderful idea — for Easter and for gift-giving more generally!
By the way, I loved the feature of your apartment over at Cup of Jo. Such a charmed and charming life your family leads! Thanks for sharing your space. Those black and white pillows on your couch are to die for! And those boots! And those different-but-coordinated yellow duvet covers on your boys’ beds! And that closet! So pretty, all around.
i love these! such a great idea to take some old baskets and make them look so fresh and new with some bright paint – love it! my toddler is at an age where she loves to collect things and put them in baskets, bags, bowls… whatever she can find – so i NEED to do easter eggs this year
i will be using this cute idea!
I really love this great idea and the wonderful spring colours…
It’s impressive what a little paint and ribbon can do to turn a plain old basket into a great Easter basket. Nice work!

These look so spiffed up and modern – thanks for sharing! I write a blog about gift wrapping and usually eye the baskets at the thrift store, hoping for inspiration to strike, but I never buy them. Now I have a reason to shop with a fresh eye!
love these!
