Didn’t Win
I forgot this auction was ending this morning on ebay and so I wasn’t there to outbid the winner. I really liked it, so I’m sad. (It’s quirky and I like the shoes.) Over the last year I’ve been collecting old oil paintings to make a wall like the one below (from Drew Barrymore’s offices in Domino.)

I love these kinds of paintings. there is nothing else like it. My husbands dad is a painter for a living and I always tell my husband to get to work! and make me beautiful pieces… the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
i covet this vogue with drew barrymore, i also love love love her collage wall.

What a great idea! I don't know how people find these beautiful thrift store oil paintings though, every time I go the selection is hideous and/or frightening.
Oh man. Total bummer! Can't wait to see what you find to replace it.
The thrift store finds are always the best, knowing you saved money and you can't find it again.
Oh that happened to me before on Ebay! And another time I won and never received the painting…but luckily got my $ back. I love DREW'S wall….soooo well put together!
