Last year I made these giant Valentines for friends and family. I had a few different sayings on the inside. Here is how I made them:
1. Write or print out the saying you want on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.
2. Take it to a kinkos with one of those large scale printers and have it enlarged {costs around $4.} I made mine a few feet wide.
3. Fold it up into a little square and wrap it up with an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. You can print their name or a message on the outside wrapper.
We still have the one I made for Paul hanging on our wall. It says: I love you to the blue blue sky.

this is a great idea! once, my husband (used to be bf) gave me over 150 small valentines, each one had a cute message or was signed by someone i loved, and he enveloped each one with a piece of candy. it was a very nice gift indeed… but maybe i’ll have to do something bigger {like this!} thanks for you endless cute ideas.

I KNEW it! Just made a calendar with our kids at home (your sister’s idea) and told my readers that if you made one it would be so unique. This post is a classic example that it’s true!!!!!
You’re cool.

your sentiment is much more heartfelt, but I’m sorry I stabbed you is pretty funny 🙂

Thank you for the idea!
I was collecting haiku(s?) from all of my boyfriends friends for a surprise birthday gift but wasn’t sure how we’d present them. I made a giant sign using this technique, with all of the haiku printed on it, so he’ll unfold it and hopefully be struck all at once by how many people from all over the world wrote him a poem for his birthday.
Thank you!
