One of my very favorite things about the holidays is all of the gingerbread! As much as I love the tasty goodness (and believe me, I DO), I also just love how pretty it looks. We were inspired by the traditional Christmas treat to create this easy printable “gingerbread” village. Read on to download the printables and make your own!
The best part about this project is there’s no sticky mess like with actual gingerbread houses! You or the kiddos can also customize your village by drawing different designs or accents. Use it to dress up your table scape or as decor to make your home a little more festive. Happy Holidays!
Materials needed: Gingerbread House Printable Templates, brown cardstock, scissors, chalk markers, x-acto knife, hot glue gun, electric tea lights
Step 1: Print out the template on brown cardstock. You will need two pieces for each house.
Step 2: Cut the template out, cutting along the solid lines. Fold the dotted lines.
Step 3: Decorate the houses using the chalk markers. Cut out the windows with an x-acto knife for detail!
Step 4: Hot glue the side panels and top of the roof together. Set up your neighborhood in the center of your table, add tea lights, and you’re done!

I love to have a good centrepiece on my Christmas table and this is my favourite one that I have seen so far this year! I can’t wait to print out the templates & get creating – plus it looks even easier than creating a real gingerbread house & I know my whole family are going to love the cuteness of it! Thanks so much!

This idea is just divine. I can imagine making 25 of these and using them as an advent calendar too!

I did that this year for my in-laws. Only 24 though. It took much longer than I anticipated.
