If you’re not a huge fan of baby showers that are too overtly cutesy and baby themed, this might be the shower for you! Simple, clean and modern, we’ve kept the baby imagery to a minimum but have still referenced the traditional pastels associated with the celebration, making sure to keep it gender neutral by combining a variety of hues. Our inspiration for the party came from this invitation from Shutterfly (which is also where we ordered the wall decals)…
A few members of our team are pregnant right now (including Jordan!) So we’ve been thinking a lot about baby showers these past few months. For this party we’ve incorporated a grid-style dessert table that used colored box lids adorned with matching colored candy. This is a fun way to display beautiful treats for your guests. To add height to the backdrop, we designed custom wall decal “balloons.” (You can download our design to use for yourself right here!) Get them made at Shutterfly. Make sure to choose the 36×27 inches option. We discovered Shutterfly’s decals last summer and have been obsessed with them ever since! They’re great for making a big graphic statement.
The invitations have a simple clean design that go perfectly with the look we’ve created. Shutterfly has tons of baby shower invitation options for new moms or moms to be! They only take a few minute to personalize (so it’s the easiest part of planning the party.)
Share and celebrate your family update. Shop Shutterfly for personalized cards that are unique, meaningful and that are just the way you want.
