It’s hard to find a Halloween theme that isn’t totally played out yet. That’s why we love the fresh theme of today’s party. The trick is simple: start with a black & white colors scheme, then stick Googly eyes on absolutely EVERYTHING (cake, cups, decorations, you name it)…
It’s helpful to have a mix of Googly Eye sizes. The little ones are cute, but the big ones make more of an impact. It’s also fun to experiment with scale. We loved that one giant eye on the disco ball turned it into a sparkly monster (Mike Wazowski!) Or, it’s super spooky to put a bunch of little eyes together on one item (like that pumpkin.)
Here’s where to get all the supplies we used: big googly eyes, medium googly eyes, small googly eyes, disco ball, cups, plates, festooning, favor bags, metallic straws.

Googly Eyes are an awesome idea, since they can make everything (even fruit and vegetables) look hilarious! I love this!

i’m planning a halloween party here in denmark for my daughter’s class and some of the more traditional decorations are harder to come by so one of the things we did was to order googly eyes in bulk to go down this road too – to stick them on just about anything. but this gave me some really good ideas on how to pull it all together – love it!

I can’t stop smiling at the photos! This is such a cute idea – not just for Halloween, I’m going to stick Googly eyes on all my foodstuffs in the fridge and see how it goes down with the rest of my household! x
