Here’s a quick and easy gift idea that’s perfect for National Donut Day (June 5.) Make and give them to all of your friends! (Along with real donuts, of course.) For the decoration we did our easy finger twist polka garland but this time we used duplex crepe paper where there is a different color on each side. This is the best and easiest because it makes the garland multicolor. All the supplies (the balloon sticks, donut balloons, mini confetti and duplex crepe paper can be found in the shop.) See the link below!
Materials: Duplex crepe paper, scissors, clear donut balloons, mini confetti, medium balloon sticks, ribbon
Step 1: Pour confetti into donut balloon and blow it up.
Step 2: Cut off a 1″ fold of crepe paper. Grab the end section. Hold the paper still with one hand while twisting the paper two times with the other. The paper will fold around your fingers. Give a quick pinch to the fold to flatten and shape each little section. (Detailed instructions for dot garlands here.)
Step 3: Attach the dot garland to the top of the cup on the balloon stick.
Step 4: Attach the balloon to the cup on the balloon stick. Tie a ribbon around the base of the cup.
Step 5: Make sure the stick is firmly attached to the cup. Enjoy!!

I love you guys but when I clicked on the shop, $47 seems a little steep for this craft. Also the checkout link didn’t have a way for me to click out of there and go directly back to your store or see the details of what was in the cart, which would be nice from a design issue in case I actually wanted to add or subtract anything in the cart from the store.
Also I would love some more details about some of your pieces. Like these serving pieces: http://shop.ohhappyday.com/products/geo-pink-hexegon-serving-platters the description doesn’t explain what material they are made out of. It looks like paper? But I can’t be sure if it’s not written out. Or this kit seems cute, but I have no way of knowing what it actually looks like put together? http://shop.ohhappyday.com/products/pink-garland-kit?variant=1267120107 I do love the things in your store, just want more detailsbefore I commit to buying.
We are working on the functionality to add and subtract! Thanks for the feedback. As far as the pricing you’re buying lots of supplies (ie: you only need a bit of crepe paper or one or two balloon sticks.)

I made these last year.. adorable.. But I had a problem with the confetti sticking around the balloon.. all the confetti went to the bottom of the balloon.. I even tried putting glue inside the balloon but didnt work that much.. Any suggestions? It looks cute but when the confetti falls to the bottom it doesnt work.. 🙁
