I’m so happy it’s the weekend! Today felt like Spring in Paris. It was a good reminder that warm weather is just around the corner. What do you have planned for this weekend? We are prepping a little party for Roman’s first birthday. And I’m also going to try to get out and buy some clothes this weekend before the sales end. (In France the sales are regulated to twice a year and they end in a few days.)
I’m excited for the posts I have prepped for next week. They include: a peek at Roman and Moses’ bunk bed cribs from our last apartment, pictures from a shopping trip at the market. (My French neighbor took me out and showed me around and I feel so inspired to cook now! I can see why everyone that comes here gets so into food.) Also I’ll be showing pictures from our apartment where we are staying in Montmartre. Have a good weekend guys- I’ll leave you with this awesome photo of teeny tiny hearts from Brooklyn Bride who just got a shiny new website–Looks so great! (ps: Babble links below.)

Shut the front door! Did you see what H&M just announced?
This is the raddest etsy shop.
How did I not know about this kids clothing line?
I love this for Valentine’s Day.
This gets filed under “toys I will buy when we get back to the States.”

I can't wait to see more of your Paris outings, and especially your apartment! I'll just plan on living vicariously through you, k?

can't wait to see what comes up next week!
I thought of you when I saw this link on TheKitchn about differences between Parisian kitchens and ones in the US (except the ones in NYC where I live are actually pretty similar)…

Happy shopping! I love shopping in Paris – remember kids clothes are somewhat smaller than UK/US if buying for the kids. DPAM – Du Pareil au Meme is a great kids store – may be to cutesy for your taste but nice stuff and reasonable price.
Have you tried guimauve (marshmallows) yet for your snack? They have many places that sell homemade ones. The best place I found though was Pain de Sucre – near the Pompidou Centre at 14 rue Rambuteau – the raspberry ones were to die for!

If I weren't expecting a baby in a few weeks, my family would be on a plane to Paris immediately after reading about your adventures.
By the way, we're flattered that you liked our recent party and our cookies. If you have even the slightest urge to spend too much time in the kitchen, you must make some teeny tiny cookies. They're like cookie confetti and we can't get enough of them (plus they're the perfect size to dole out to little ones).

A friend of my mother's made her some of these tiny cookies for Valentine's Day. They are darling and delish and if you eat just one… it won't kill your diet! 🙂
