This is my most recent article for Project Wedding. I made simple flags on dowels then dipped them into an Elmers glue mixture and let them dry and then they stand out straight like little flag sculptures. These would be really cute lining a pathway or just sprinkled around the sidelines of your reception or party.
Special thanks to Alexis for assisting and Adele for modeling.

Love the flags and really LOVE the dress in the first photo. Is it a vintage dress?

Very simple, but unique. I have seen tons of bunting/flag banners (which I love), but this creates the same look – on the ground.

I love the cheery yellow color! I've used this flag idea before for parties and they come out so lovely- liquid starch works as well if you don't have a huge bottle of Elmers:)

these are great! it reminds me of when we did batik with elmer's glue and it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to wash the glue out. they're still a little stiff! :^)
