I’m in the process of putting together a comprehensive San Francisco guide. I’ve wanted to put this together for a long time so yesterday I went around with Aubrey Trinnaman to several neighborhoods to get pictures of my favorite spots. We are half done and will hopefully have the final project up in the next week or two. Here is a polaroid I came home with.

Brilliant!
I am an SF Native “in exile” in Seattle.
I love sendng my seattle friends on SF adventures – a big favorite is starting at the ferry building, then catching the California Cable Car and connecting to the #2 Clement and then exploring Clement Street and a dim sum lunch/Bakery treat/green apple book stop before heading out to Legion of Honor/Cliff House-Sutro Baths/Ocean Beach. From there I send them to the de Young observation tower, then Zam Zam on Haight Street where my grandpa used to hang out and drink martinis 30 years before I did. Then I have them walk to my mom’s house…

Hey,
If I were you I’m not so sure I’d be willing to just GIVE this info away. Probably someone will pay you some decent bucks to put it in book form and sell it. Or maybe once they see all the traffic you’re going to get from this they’ll offer to print it in book form. That’d be SO RAD!
Just lookin out for you…

It will be available online for free but I am also going to make sweet little books that people can buy or give as gifts.

This sounds so great! I’m so happy you’re putting it online but knowing your style, I’m sure I’ll be tempted to get the book as well. Hopefully it will ship internationally, too.. 🙂

That’s great, I can’t wait to see what you’re doing. I plan to feature some of the awesome spots from our community of Atlantic Beach, Florida on my site too (well, it’s a blog, not a real ‘site’ but still…) We’re no San Francisco but we are a cool beach community filled with independent restaurants and shops. Looking forward to seeing yours!

Very cool! I’m headed to SFO at the end of March, and would love to check out your guide.
My sister and I are looking for a fun (but cheap) hotel and putting together a list of places we have to go.
