1. The orchids Paul bought me for our anniversary.
2. My new business cards I printed yesterday on super thick cotton paper.
3. A quick trip to the flower mart today.
Also, this weekend is the Printer’s Fair in San Francisco. I can’t wait.

See that lovely Sun Valley Floral logo on your pretty tulips there? That’s my father in law’s company. Hope they stay pretty for a while!

Your cards look so lovely! You should sell sets of these in your shop.

Letterpress prints best on cotton paper. This super thick stuff I bought from Crane’s. It is super pretty but not practical, only two fit in my wallet–because they are so thick. 🙂

Things we have in common:
1) The same name (spelled a little different)
2) Is your favorite color green? The color of your blog (and skinny belt and orchid pot) is the color of my front door. And I love it too.
3) Asked for “Katie Holmes” at my last haircut too. (Hair isn’t long enough yet…)
4) Made a “Happy Purchase” of tulips recently, as well.
Things we don’t necessarily have in common:
1) You pull off “katie holmes” very well.
2) You pull off skinny belts very well.
3) Your taste in pretty much everything is top notch.
Your blog title is perfectly fitting for how you make us all feel!
…Happy Mother’s Day!
