What a great idea! I love it! I am somewhat depressed that San Francisco never really got much of a summer this year…keeping my fingers crossed that October is a warm months for us. But any time is a good time for apple cider in the park! -Leith

I am planning to do an Oktoberfest Beer Fest party, with microbrew beers, a selection of cheeses, a pot of vegetarian chili and cornbread! Everyone will be invited to bring their favorite microbrew beer to taste/swap and we will create a beer description list with one word descriptions from everyone. 🙂

Again loads of really simple but effective ideas. In the USA you have romantic-sounding ‘fall’ but in the UK we only get cold-inducing ‘autumn’ but these will cheers us up! Keep up the good work

My ideal harvest party would have LOTS of food. Fruit salads, steamed veggies of various kinds, some kind of nuts (I’m really picky about nuts though, so it would probably be pistachios, my favorite). And even if it’s not harvest-appropriate, I’d finish it up with cake and brownies because why not?
