One of my favorite things to do is to peruse vintage books. I found some danish bell ornaments and thought we could punch it up a bit. Add some metallic hot pink and I think we have something. I don’t think they look much like bells but more of a fun holiday forest.
You will need: 12×12 cardstock, pencil, scissors, tape, twine
Step 1: Use something big and round like a pot lid to trace a circle on the card stock. For each “bell” you will need three sheets. Cut the circle out with scissors just inside the lines of the tracing, so they don’t show. For mirror board, trace the circle on the backside. Cut a quarter out of the circle, as shown. Form a cone and tape edge down with tape, don’t tape the entire way up to the point so you can insert the twine later. Trim the bottom edge to line up perfectly.
Step 2: Cut a piece of twine long enough to hang from the ceiling. Insert the twine into the tip of one cone and tie a knot under the cone. Under that, insert the twine again into another cone and tie a knot. Then add your last cone and tie a knot. Trim off excess. Make sure your three knots are well spaced so the bells look even. The large bells have knots that are about 4 inches apart. When you are done with the first bell, make many more, everything is better in multiples. To hang the installation, all you need is some scotch tape, just make an “x” across the twine and trim.
These are super easy to make and I just saw poster sized mirror board at the craft shop this morning. Darn. These could have been even bigger!

I have that same marble table! Bought it from Pier One 20 years ago and it still looks just as beautiful as when it was new. It makes me happy to see another one.
