I’ve been mothering these little pots of grass for a week now. I am going to set one at each place setting for the church party tomorrow night. I started to get worried they weren’t going to grow fast enough but this morning they were growing green and strong. The last few days I moved them into our living room because I was worried about how cold it was outside. Since then Paul has been referring to the living room as the lawn. Anyway, little pots of grass make me really happy.

We did this exact same thing for our RS Birthday Party. We also put flowering fruit branches in strategic places. It was beautiful.

No nice Enrichment budget here. The whole project cost about $30 and I paid for it myself.

I just discovered your blog and I love it! I love the wheat grass idea! Not only will the sisters in your ward get a cute gift to take home, but they can also use it to benefit their health! Wheat grass helps cleanse and detoxify the blood, helps digestion, makes your skin look great, helps metabolize energy and fat, and gives your immune system a boost. All for a few pennies. Or they could just feed it to the cat, wheat grass is otherwise known as cat grass! My kitty loves it!
