Every year for Christmas, we mark the kids’ presents with a giant letter ‘R’ ‘M’ or ‘S’ so they can find their presents under the tree. It’s so much more fun to make than your typical gift tag — and they’re graphic and fun to look at, too! Today, we’re sharing our little tradition and a few tricks to make it super easy to do! Read on to see how…
Materials needed: Wrapped presents, typefaces, printer, cardstock (in a bunch of colors), x-acto knife, glue stick
Step 1: Type the letter of the gift recipient’s first initial and size them up for the present. Ours were roughly ¾ the size of each present. Mirror the letters so you have a guide for cutting, then print onto cardstock.
Step 2: Carefully cut out the letters with an x-acto knife.
Step 3: Affix a letter to each present with a glue stick and you’re all set!
