We’re excited to partner with IKEA to celebrate the launch of their new LURVIG Collection for pets!  We have some VERY dedicated dog moms on our team and we’ve wanted to throw a puppy party since we made a balloon dog piñata for Take Your Dog to Work Day (here!). I guess you could say we went a little over the top with this one… but we were just having too much fun! The new line has some beautiful products for both cats and dogs and were a great modern addition to the party. Continue for the details….

We are obsessed with our four legged friends here at Oh Happy Day so we love that IKEA designers worked with trained vets to develop products with the needs and behaviors of our furry friends in mind! Our pups loved playing with the LURVIG ball- you can hide a treat inside to keep them busy!

For our puppy party we put LURVIG bowls on cakestands to add height to the tablescape and keep things out of paw’s reach!  (You can make the bone garland with this printable template, cardstock, and mini brads).

We also thought that adding a giant tennis ball piñata would be a funny addition… and every dog’s dream!

We created “doggy bags” filled with a treats for the pups (and their owners) to hand out at the end of the night! We added colorful leashes and dog toys from the LURVIG collection. Check out the rest of the collection at your local IKEA store or online.

Finally, don’t forget a hot dog stand to feed the humans! Bone appetit!
