What kid wouldn’t love a supply of candy around their neck?! Today’s super-easy DIY is perfect for last minute birthday party favors. All you need is candy – anything with a hole will work! We used gummy lifesavers in a rainbow of colors, ribbon (you can pre-cut to keep scissors away from tiny hands), and scissors. Voila! You’re all set! Kids can make them during the event, then bring them home as the perfect after-party snack!
Materials needed: 5/8″ Ribbon, Scissors, Lifesavers Neons Gummies
Step 1: Cut a piece of ribbon 80” long. Tie a double knot at the center of the ribbon.
Step 2: String on one Lifesaver gummy and tie a double knot to keep it in place. This marks the halfway point of the necklace. Continue to add and secure candy with double knots until you’re left with 12 inches of ribbon. Repeat this process for the other half of the necklace.
Step 3: Gather the loose ends of the ribbon and tie in a knot at the top. Your candy necklace is complete!
