A few years ago my son requested a “golden party” and even after all this time we still get requests about details for that party. I thought it was time we gave this shiny theme its own post. We started with these gold shiny table cloths that are affordable and so shiny and used them to cover the walls as well as the table. We also added these gold fringe garlands which are my favorite things right now. You can staple them together to make them as long as you want. We threw in a bunch of gold balloons including the “STAY GOLDEN” letters.

For the table setting we used all our shiny gold plates in the shop and added gold fringe festooning for the centerpiece. We did a treasure hunt for my sons’ party but there are so many cute gold candies that work great for favor bags. Have you ever thrown a “Gold” party?
