I’m getting into the spirit of spring with all of the Easter candy popping up. These fun little baskets were inspired by my love of anything egg shaped and chocolate. These baskets make great give-aways or place settings. They are easy to put together and a little bit different from your typical pastel easter decor. Happy egg hunting!

Materials: Printable Patterned Egg Basket Template, 8.5 x 11 white card stock, scissors, glue, tape, hole punch, string or ribbon, crinkle paper.

Step 1: Print out the Printable Patterned Egg Basket Template on 8.5 x 11 white card stock.
Step 2: Cut out all sections of the basket with scissors.
Step 3:  Fold up the tabs of the round bottom piece and fit the basket section over (see picture). Tape the rounded basket piece in place on the inside.
Step 4: Once you have formed the basket to size, glue the outside flap down and let dry.
Step 5: Put glue on the outside of all of the tabs on the bottom piece and place in the bottom of the basket. Press the tabs into the basket to secure. Let the basket dry.
Step 6: Tape (or glue) in the basket handle as shown in picture.
Step 7: Add some crinkle paper in the basket to create some padding for your eggs
Step 8: Punch a hole in the tag and tie with string to the basket.
