What are your New Years Resolutions? One of mine was to be mindful of what I’m eating (less carbs! more veggies!) Part of that is taking my vitamins each day. For a long time, my doctor has been telling me I need to take vitamin supplements – but I hate swallowing pills. I’ve pretty much tried every vitamin on the market, and they all taste a little funny. Translation: I always “forget” to take them…
Towards the end of last year, I stumbled across Olly on a trip to Target. I’d heard good things about the brand (co-founded by one of the guys who started Method!) so I decided to give it a try. And I’m officially hooked. These gummies taste SO GOOD. My husband has always teased me about the gummy vitamins, but after trying Olly he’s obsessed too. Now, we actually look forward to taking our vitamins each day! We keep them out on our kitchen counter so we see them every morning. It’s really easy to pop them in our mouths on the way out the door.
It sounds funny to say I’m passionate about vitamins, but I’m really excited about what this company is doing. They’re totally disrupting the industry by producing high quality products made from natural ingredients. Their packaging is fresh and modern, but they’ve also put tons of research into developing the best vitamins on the market.
I love that you can mix and match vitamin combinations to fit your specific need or you can take a multi-vitamin to cover the basics. They just launched a new line of Super Foods Multi Vitamin (which I’ve tried and LOVE) that has the antioxidant equivalent of an entire serving of fruits and veggies. It’s vegetarian and gluten free and includes 21 essential vitamins and minerals plus a boost of phytonutrients from 10 super foods that help fight free radical damage. It helps to fill in the gaps between the fruits and veggies I need and the ones I’m actually eating. I’m really excited to say that at least one of my New Years goals will be accomplished this year!
Good news! From now until 2/29, all Oh Happy Day readers will get 20% off any purchase on olly.com. Just use the code ‘HAPPY’.

Thanks for the reminder – I really need to start taking vitamins, too. I’m not opposed to swallowing them, but I get turned off by the reports that say that a lot of the commercial vitamins out there just go right through your system and you are paying for “expensive pee.” It sounds like this Olly brand though is really well researched and thought out. Thanks!

Happy New Year! Love Olly! The daily vitamins are great! And now I’m intrigued by the Super Foods.
Do you remember where you got that cute sign from? Or even what it’s called? Thanks!

Oh man, I wish these contained iron. Then they’d be perfect for me. Iron is the main thing missing from my diet but it’s really hard to find nice tasting vitamins or ones that aren’t the size of a horse tablet that contain it. Back home in Australia most multi vitamins contain iron (especially ones for women who are more likely to be iron deficient then men) but here in America it’s missing from most supplements. I wonder why that is.
I think I might have to give these a try anyway as they sound good and the packaging is definitely cute – which comes in handy when you keep your family’s vitamins on the kitchen bench all the time 🙂

That’s a great idea! If you don’t mind me asking, where is the lovely sign with the changeable letters from? I’ve been looking for one just like that for a while now!
