Here’s a super quick and simple project for you- palm tree pinwheels! Use them merely as decoration or turn them into cute novelty straws for your next tropical themed fiesta!

Tools and Materials: Palm tree pinwheel template, Green card stock, bamboo paper straws, scissors, brads, x-acto knife, wire cutters, pencil.
Step 1: Download and print out the template.
Step 2: Place the green card stock underneath the template.
Step 3: Cut out.
Step 4: Draw a small dot on the center of the pinwheel.
Step 5: Start folding the corners of the pinwheel towards the dot.
Step 6: With an x-acto knife, make a small hole in the center of the pinwheel.
Step 7: Insert the brad in the hole and, using wire cutters, cut out 4 millimeters from the end of the brad.
Step 8: Bend the brad around the straw, hold tight so it doesn’t move up or down the straw.
