I had so much fun making back-to-school wrapping paper last year that I thought I should give it another go this year. I decided to play off the idea of a school of fish – I think the results are playful but not too kid-ish. This paper is so simple to do you’ll want to wrap all your kids’ back-to-school supplies!
Supplies: White butcher paper, thin foam (with adhesive backing), paint brush, paint, pencil, scissors, cardboard scraps
Step 1: Draw a small fish onto the foam. Mine was about 1″ long.
Step 2: Cut out the fish and adhere onto a small piece of cardboard.
Step 3: Brush paint onto the foam and stamp all over your paper. (Note: I made and used different stamps for different paint colors)
Step 4: Let dry.
Step 5: Wrap your back-to-school gifts. Label with a tag and write “Back to school!”
