Today we’re partnering with my friends at Soma to bring you a fun DIY that you can use for a party or for everyday! We make these infused ice cubes every few weeks and keep them keep them in the freezer. When they start melting, they’ll infuse your water with subtle flavors. They make water taste so much better and are pretty to boot! If you don’t know about Soma they are an amazing company that makes the most beautiful filtered water carafes and pitchers. They recently launched their new pitcher that has a gorgeous wooden handle! It’s beautiful and innovative and modern. I love that the filtration uses plant-based products and is totally sustainable. They also make a donation to charity: water with every sale. These guys are legit. You can purchase Soma at target.com/soma or at drinksoma.com! Today they’re offering a special discount to Oh Happy Day readers: the first 50 people to use the code OHD1FREEFILTER (at drinksoma.com) will receive a free filter off their first order. Click through below for the full instructions for our fancy ice cubes!
Materials: Water, fruits and vegetables (we used cucumber, basil, strawberries, raspberries, lemons, limes, oranges and mint), fun ice cube holders
Step 1: Thinly slice your fruits and vegetables and place them in trays. Pour Soma filtered water over into the trays.
Step 2: Freeze for at least 4 hours (especially if you have larger ice trays.)
Voila! Pretty ice in just 2 easy steps.
