Have you hosted a circus themed party yet? In case you haven’t noticed, Oh Happy Day has a ton of circus DIY projects to choose from including party hats, cake toppers, and invitations. The dollar store has everything you need to make these simple place cards – you could make a few extras as cake toppers too!
Supplies: Paper favor cups, card stock, mini plastic animals, red paint, paintbrush, scissors, hot glue gun
Step 1: Paint vertical red stripes on the outside of the favor cups. The stripes don’t need to be identical, just eyeball it and keep them as even as you can manage. Let dry.
Step 2: Print the names of your party guests onto the card stock.
Step 3: Cut the names out in small banner shapes and gently curl.
Step 4: Apply a small dab of hot glue to the bottom of the animals’ feet and attach to the favor cup.
Step 5: Use hot glue to attach the name banners onto the sides of the favor cups.

What a cute idea. I keep seeing great tutorials to use little plastic animals – I want to make some mason jars with spray painted tigers on top!
